So, the day has finally come. Issue #2 of the League of Extraordinarily Stupid Gentlemen is printed and will be in stores this week. To celebrate Brian (the Penciler/Writer) and I will be at Brave New Worlds Comics in Willow Grove, PA this Saturday signing these things! To make things way cooler, Steve from Preston & Steve will be there from 1pm – 3pm too! Cool huh?
Book Signing
I haven’t done too many signings. I’ve sat behind many a table selling my various art projects over the years, and I am always stunned when someone asks me to sign a piece. Many times I will remind them that by having me sign their piece I am probably bringing down the value of said piece. Who knows? If this goes well, maybe I’ll just start signing random things for people. Like napkins, doctor’s notes, cups of coffee, or sports memorabilia. Perhaps I could carry around 8 x 10 head shots of my own, and in place of currency, I could make the act of signing my photo as I hand it over to a clerk a new form of payment. One can dream.
